MileMind
A car-cost and mileage tracker for UK drivers. Pulls real MOT history straight from the DVSA, watches a lease allowance before it turns into an excess bill, and keeps forecasts strictly apart from what's actually been spent.
Independent app developer · United Kingdom
GGRY is Sam Gregory. I design and build native iOS software end to end — the interface, the API behind it, and the servers it runs on. No agency, no template, no borrowed backend.

The work
Designed, built, shipped and maintained here. Each one runs on infrastructure I administer myself.
A car-cost and mileage tracker for UK drivers. Pulls real MOT history straight from the DVSA, watches a lease allowance before it turns into an excess bill, and keeps forecasts strictly apart from what's actually been spent.
A monitoring service that watches the market and reports back. Built for my own use, running on the same box as everything else.
Something new is in the workshop. More when there's something worth showing.
SwiftUI apps for iPhone and iPad, built to Apple's guidelines and taken through review.
Python services and the PostgreSQL behind them, scoped so a user only ever sees their own.
My own UK servers and deploy pipeline. Nothing important sits on a platform I can't inspect.
Interface, identity and the words around it — the other half of the same job.
The stack
No page builder, no template, no mystery platform in the middle. Every layer is one I can open up.
Who you're actually dealing with
GGRY is me. There's no team, no investors and no roadmap theatre. I do the design, write the code, run the server, and answer the email.
Doing all of it myself is the point, not a limitation: nothing ships that I don't understand end to end, and nothing gets claimed that I can't show you.
If you write to me, it lands with the person who built the thing you're writing about.
Curious about how something here was built, or got something you think I'd want to make? I read everything.
